Caroline Bayer

Based on the cityscape and its visual classification systems Bayer develops drawings and installations that relate to the direct surroundings of the exhibitions space or other specific locations and sites.

Janine Eggert

Janine Eggert makes sculptures and installations in various materials. She draws on the formal language and modes of industrial production to examine and challenge visual habits.

Chryssa Tsampazi

Tsampazi’s work mobilizes notions of intimate publics and performative speech actions where the body of the artist, and that of her collaborator-participants, constitute both the subject and the transmitter of the work.

About This Red Door at REH Kunst Berlin

REH Kunst is pleased to announce the visit of “This Red Door” in July and August. Following the first two iterations at the Kunsthalle Galapagos in Brooklyn and the PS122 Gallery in East Village, Jomar Statkun, Jared Friedman and Christopher Stackhouse will now turn REH Kunst into a dynamic platform for creative and critical exchange. In their collaborative attempt they investigate the terms and conditions that may define ‘studio practice’, as well as art and its social functionality. The goal is to develop an open and non-hierarchical discourse amongst artists and the general public.
