The holiday season is a cosy time of harmony, Peace and Love. Not so at Scotty Enterprises. Scotty Enterprises has invited 13 colleagues, the vilest, ugliest, most successful, most arrogant, most snotty artists that they know. Only their art is unfortunately cool!

With a wink in their eye, the  theme of the exhibition is the dearest enemy, but also the idea of the artist and the role that they play in Society.
"You who love your enemies!" praises a deity in the Hindu national epic, the god Rama.
"My Dearest Enemy" is also the title of the movie from Werner Herzog (1999) about his tumultuous relationship and power struggles with the actor Klaus Kinski.  "Kinski  embodies something that lies deep inside of me."

Dearest enemies arise for different reasons: old stories, competition, impertinent behavior, bad looks, …
Maybe we can find something of ourselves in our enemies? If the attachment of Love is a strategy, isn't an Enemy just a freind in disguise? (Klaus Teweleit)

And the best thing is: Of course nothing has to be true/real, nice fake stories are just as good!
