What does it mean to be human? What would you submit as a symbol of humanity? How would you represent humankind to extraterrestrials?
Artists are invited to imagine smartloft as a time capsule being rocketed into outer space. Work will be installed in the rooms with the notion that extraterrestrials could reside in our spaces and experience life from a human perspective.

Dear diary,

From Monday till Wednesday looking for the perfect working annex coffee place kept me busy. My dearest neighbor with whom we share the internet turns it off every night, and most of the time she forget to turn it on again…
That's how my search for the perfect place for coffee AND internet started.

Dear Diary,

Winter has arrived and I am spending more and more days at home.. so this time no stories about bars. Or maybe a few....
because on Sunday Despina took me and the other girls, Maria and Rachel from Pigs, out for dinner at Themroc and we ended up at a nice bar with good looking people called Neue Odessa...

It was so generous of Despina to take us out for dinner, so I told her I won't need a goodbye present any more when I leave… which is stupid because you don't ask for a present do you?
Except for Christmas maybe…

Kunsthal 44 Møen | Curator in Residence Program 2012
An opportunity for young international curators to participate in the development of exhibition projects.
Kunsthal 44 Møen invites, from March 15 to October 15 2012, a young curator / curator student to be a part of the daily life at 44 Møen. The aim of the programme is to provide young curators with practical skills like exhibition planning and realization, planning and managing events, work with the relation to the press to disseminate the knowledge about the exhibitions, work with and develop the national and international network of 44 Møen -be in the exhibition on daily basis and have an open dialogue with the guests.
The Grant gives the possibility to develop an exhibition concept one of the following years, in the light of the practical knowledge the stay has gained. In development of the concept you will continuously have the possibility to discuss the ideas with René Block, artistic leader of Kunsthal 44 Møen.
